My name is Jade and I’m the colorful writer and Jfashion enthusiast behind Jadedisland on social media. Born and raised in Maryland I became a pink magical girl, with a B.S in English literature and Psychology, because no one is perfect so I write about that. I have been writing for what seems like all my life, but that is impossible, right? It just feels like I have because it is what I am meant to do. Jadedisland began as a platform for me to just express my ideas but it is grown! I have taken my love of writing, storytelling, and authenticity and made it my movement. I am invested in narratives for Black Femmes, Kawaii lifestyles, and creative writing. I focus on these ideas with intentional emotional authenticity. I believe that change happens when you extend your hand, and my writing reflects that.
